The story is too straight and simple. Eken comes to Tungkulung. A man dies there but how? Out of train accident or Murder? Watch this seven-episode web series streaming in Hoichoi
You all know Eken series is going since long and in future it will continue too. Leaving two to three episodes I find the series to be meaningless. Anirban is showcased a clown more than a detective. A detective does not make fun in critical situations but surprisingly in this series he has become more serious. This is a positive point. The chemistry between Promotho and Bapi hasn't changed at all. I didn't like them from beginning. The other characters did well and tried to enhance the series but failed ultimately. The set design looks good and eye catching but there is no unique factor in the story nor script. It looks the laughter has been forcibly introduced. The biggest thing is that the series is continuing for so long but there is no change at all. Only Eken is serious this time unlike other times
In any of Eken series I have seen always the importance of Eken but the other characters get no importance. Every time the detective comes, he immediately starts with his deduction. There should be a balance of how he should approach situations. Even a detective has personal life. Such shades are never shown. If you see any other detective series you will definitely come up with shades and flavour. The personal life of a detective and then his professional work but here the monotonous segment prevails. The technical part is good- Editing, Colour Gradation & Cinematography. Some shots make sense but the story and script miserably failed. It does not excite us at all. For any web series or film in modern times, background music is a crucial factor. The music makes the content gripping and highlights small details too but the music used here is nothing new. I have gone through this music several times in the past but where is the new factor? Since Eken is being portrayed differently, these segments should also have been kept in mind.
Verdict
