The trailer review:

What we get to know from the trailer is that, Bikram Pramanik the character played by
Shiboprosad Mukherjee, lost his job. From then on, he started robbing different banks. He builds his own gang and starts robbing various banks by taking the disguise of a polymorphous.
Sometimes he is the new son-in-law, sometimes his getting out from a watermelon cart, sometimes is travelling on the back of a truck. But Abir fails to catch him. Phone calls are coming from several banks. Four people are carrying out the heist. One among them is a polymorphous. But no one can identify them. In one scene, Abir says that this polymorphous is becoming a nuisance for him, this dialogue suits his character a lot.
Now if we talk about Shiboprosad Mukherjee's performance, in one word, he is outstanding. From the trailer it is clear that the film revolves around the story of a robber and a police officer. Shiboprosad Mukherjee, in his every film, re-invents himself. In Bohurupi, his looks are totally different. Not only that, his manner of speaking, walking everything is different.
On the other hand Abir Chatterjee suits the character of the police officer. As it is, he is the handsome hunk of Tollywood. He has portrayed the character of police officer perfectly. The dialogues that he is delivering over the phone, like when he is saying that this polymorphous is becoming a nuisance, sound great in his voice.
Now let's talk about the cast of the film. The main characters of the movie are played by Shiboprosad and Abir. Apart from them, another most important character is the one played by Ritabhari Chakraborty. It seems that she playing the role of Abir Chatterjee's wife. Because there is a scene where Abir Chatterjee comes and knocks on the door and Ritabhari opens it, all decked up. The homely look suits her a lot.
Parallely, If I talk about Koushani, she is again in an absolutely new avatar in this film. Usually we get to see her playing extrovert female characters. But here she has presented herself in an absolutely new look. There is a dashing attitude in her character. She is simply fabulous in Bohurupi. And I am sure you are going to be her fan when you see her in Bohurupi. Here she is also playing the character of a thief or rather that of a pick pocket of the village. It is said that she is the biggest big pocket in the village. Her attitude, mannerism, way of talking everything is brilliant. Her chemistry with Shiboprosad is amazing. There is a scene where both are travelling by a boat as bride, groom and their chemistry in that scene is brilliant.
In the film, the action sequence between Shiboprosad and Abir are so vibrant, that it is sure to impress the audience. There are other incidence also like in a scene where in the village a man is decked up as a bride and is used for pickpocketing. All these realistic events are sure impress the audience. Actually the story is so much relatable and realistic that it does not seem like a movie but something happening in real life.
The cinematography, background score everything of Bohurupi is outstanding. The background score used in the movie is particularly mention worthy. it is so intriguing that it creates a different impact. At the beginning of the trailer there is a particular music which goes like "aiaiaiya". This has particularly enhanced the value of the trailer. Another important point is the look and feel of the movie. The rural ambience is depicted through the everyday life of rural people, their rituals, the lives of the polymorphous, the visuals of rural Bengal; all together, the puja this year belongs to Bohurupi. And along with the background score the song "dakatiya bashi", where the famous line "piriti kanthaler atha "is used, this item number, on which kausani has performed, has already become viral. This is sure to be played in all the Puja pandals.
The trailer suggests that the film is a serious one. However there are touches of comedy here and there, particularly in the dialogues of Shiboprosad. It is going to give the family audience a little comic relief and that is going to work in favour of the film.
In all their films, Windows Production House leaves their signature mark and that is there in Bohurupi, too. They have maintained a beautiful balance. After watching the trailer all you want to do this watch the film.
The ending of the trailer is also very thrilling. It shows that Shiboprosad has fitted a bomb outside the door of a bank. Abir is hurrying towards the spot and running up the stairs. Shiboprosad just says "boom" and their goes the explosion! And the trailer ends there and it says that the film is releasing during the pooja. This is attracting the audience even more.
The trailer is brilliantly cut and also out it maintains suspense all throughout. Editing, colour gradation, background score, cinematography everything is brilliant. The trailer is definitely enhancing the interest of the audience to watch the full movie.
Verdict:
All the songs as well the trailer and teaser of Bohurupi are creating waves. This movie is sure to draw a large audience at the theatres, owing to its unique content and extraordinary performance.
