About the Film Review
On 29th September Tarokar Mrityu released in theatres. The plot of the film revolves around a married couple who goes to Kalimpong for a change in monotonous life. They got in a hotel which is famous for ghastly activities. They came across a murder which took place in the bungalow. Question is how the murder took place? Is it because of some ghastly incidents or personal grudge? To know you have to watch the full film
Acting Part
The acting is very good specially Ritwick Chakraborty and Parno Mitra. Ritwick plays the character of a script writer whereas Parno Mitra’s character has got frequent panic attack which has been developed quite well. Secondly, Ranjit Mullick’s comeback leaves a positive impression on audience. His mannerism and attitude justify the character and overall story. As a detective, Ranjit Mallick is not fit for the character. There is definitely a lag in his character. We have seen him in many of his previous films where he played the role of a police officer but particularly as a detective there is tail drop in his character. A detective should be subtle which we do not get in his character. Even his dialogue delivery in many scenes is unmatched with the script. The story involves suspense as well as a crime thriller. The blending is quite commendable compared to other crime thriller movies.
Technical part
The location selected sets the mood of the story. To add the horror atmosphere, the haunting mountains, drizzling rain and the dark colour tone is well implemented which totally sets the mood of the story. The background music is not up to the mark for such genre of a film. I will say the making of the film is satisfactory for one time watch
Verdict:
The question is how audience will react to the new avatar of Ranjit Mullick, we all have to wait for the film release. Bengali Film Reviews bring all latest news on entertainment. Be sure to visit Bengali Film Reviews for latest updates.
