About the Trailer Review
The making looks exceptional. I was present at the trailer launch event in South City. Seeing the trailer I felt this content can hit the audience well. The story is not unique as there are many films earlier we have seen which are based on women empowerment but the way the making has been presented looks exceptional. Specially how well the Varanasi has been disclosed along with their rituals. This is a major attraction of the film.
We can Srabonti in dual role. At one place, she alone fighting against this racket and on another hand she is the main antagonist of the film. The trailer though hints Arindam Sil as the main villain. There is a relationship between Arindam Sil and the negative role Srabonti, atleast the trailer hints so the life journey of the widows has been beautifully portrayed. Few widows are asking, Why they can't wear red sarees, some are expressing with sadness of not having meat and some are exclaiming their life is a fight canvas.
Now coming to the technical segment. The work of the cinematographer is very good. I specially liked one of the frame where a wide shot of a river is taken during the dawn. A boat was sailing and birds flying over the sky. I feel this shot has a much relevancy with the film.Many scenes have been given dark shade. Also the shot were two Sravonti's meeting each other. Rwitobroto's act also looks good. Some dialect has been used which has meaning with the plot. The background music is exceptional as it glimpses on the social message of women empowerment. Kudos to the director for making the film and presenting it beautifully in the trailer. This is not a hero based film rather the director focused on women. This is itself a uniqueness of the film.
