About the Plot

About the Trailer Review
A village in Dharmapur, where a school master lives, who is ethical by nature because of him being an ethical and moral individual, many people living in the society in and around him are having problems like the chief of the village, who is facing problems because of the ethical nature of the school master. Besides this, the only son of the master who lives apart from his parents in a different flat, does not care to see and look after his parents. A helpless married couple who gets sudden help from a police inspector, coming from town. Then a chemistry develops between the inspector and the master and his wife. The full film revolves around this plot.
The biggest point I must say is the making of the film which could have become a hero-oriented movie if directed by some other director. Like making the hero larger than life, humongous action sequences and many other things but the trailer gives a glimpse that Avijit Sen has made the film in a different way keeping things realistic and natural. A police inspector comes to rescue who solves the problems like a normal human. He has got emotions, the bravery to fight the odds, uses his strength as much required in situations, the chemistry he develops with the master and his family. Each and every detail has been shown in a natural way. This is indeed an admirable task. Anirban Chakrabarti plays the role of the villain. Dev plays the lead role of police inspector named Deepak Pradhan. Besides, we will see Kanchan Mullick, Ambarish Bhattacharya and many other talented star-cast.
Coming to the technical part there is nothing much to say about because this is the era of digital presentation. In this film the presentation is good but not a wow factor. One more attractive point is the dialogues. I won’t say that this is not a commercial movie but being a art film it can be given commercial treatment. The pattern of the dialogues is well set like few dialogues of Dev where he says, He don’t believe in God, not in words but his name resides in his heart. These punchlines in the dialogues are well executed
According to the trailer, the chemistry between Dev and Paran Bandyopadhyay catches attention. The story writing also looks good but what twists is there can only be known once the film is released. The most important thing is the message delivered in the making. We have a lot of problems in our society specially in our locality which has been shown in the trailer and it’s not like this, that you will get fight sequences throughout the film. The action scenes have been provided as needed in situations but one negative factor, the speaking pattern of Dev. If he works on his verses, he can be a more accepted actor because in all his recent films he has kept aside his hero chant and portrayed character acting. Voice modulation is ok but he needs to check on his pronunciation. The rest I will review once the film is released.
Verdict
The film releases on 22nd December,2023. The trailer hints a gripping story and we know that Avijit Sen has took out the best of Dev in his previous two films.
