Parnashavari Shaap Is Perfect for Binge-Watch in Bhoot Chaturdashi: “Parnashabarir Shaap” Web Series Reaction

About the Plot
The plot derived from Souvik Chakraborty’s tale, fuses mythology and horror. The spooky trailer showcases Surangana Bandyopadhyay’s transformation and Chiranjit’s stoic presence amidst supernatural events. Parnashavari, central to the narrative, is a deity in Hindu and Buddhist traditions, known for protection against epidemics. The series dives deep into the legend of Devi Parnashavari, promising immense horror and suspense.

About the Web Series Review
The web series has 7 episodes streaming on Hoichoi. The web series is a horror drama where we can see the curse of Hindu mythology deity Parnashabari has come down on the villagers of Chamakpur. Evil energy is hunting and eating the villagers alive. But why is this sudden curse? For that you need to watch the full web series. Chiranjit Chakraborty again makes a comeback. It is good to see old artists are making comeback films and web series.

a) Positive Points
The first thing is the story of the web series. Most of you know about the story if you hear Sunday Suspense. The character Bhaduri has been played by Chiranjit. He has acted really well and the most important thing is his looks. Surangana Chakraborty also impacted with her acting. It is she on whom the evil energy has taken possession. The way she scratching the floor with her nails, shifting her eye balls gives a spine chill effect. Besides, Gaurav and others has really done well in their acting. They are coming to Chamakpur for a change and getting trapped in such an atmosphere develops the storyline well. The twist in every scene is really commendable which will keep you entertain throughout the seven episodes
The technical part is really well specially the cinematographer, the way he has taken several ariel shots gives a meaning to the scene. Honestly, it is looking good. Even the art direction of the mountain houses has been done properly

b) Negative Points
The web series is filled with supernaturalism. We have seen a lot of horror drama which has been proved logically but here is no logical proof to the reasoning, though the director tried to implement logic in scenes but how much that is acceptable to the audience is the big question
In the second episode, we see a scene where a patient wants to commit suicide by jumping of the rooftop and Chiranjit aka Mr. Bhaduri preventing him from doing the act by showing his hand as if he has got some psychic powers. How is this possible?
In another scene, we see Mr. Bhaduri is giving lecture regarding evil spirits. I did not find the reasoning promising. There are lot of philosophical persons with their own perspective but how much authentic and accurate they deliver is the question. Since this is a web series, If I go to details you will get bore but whatever has been showcased is not so acceptable. Throughout the web series the suspense has been built up but in climax the dramatic element is missing. It becomes difficult to connect
In this web series, Arna seemed selfish in one of the scenes and in many places, you will feel Arna to be the villain but I feel if the director could have been a bit open, audience could have felt the twist more.

Verdict
The full web series however is very entertaining and keep you engage till the last. If you like the review, leave your comment in our comment section. Bengali film Reviews bring latest updates on all entertainment coverages. Be sure to visit Bengali Film Reviews for more information and news.
