After watching this teaser, I am too excited for the film release. It is a proudful moment for Bengalis that we are getting to see the film in the memory of Mrinal Sen on his 100th birth anniversary. Hat’s off to Kaushik Ganguly for such a brave attempt. Kaushik Ganguly himself stated that his enthusiasm in film making started after watching Kharij under Mrinal Sen’s direction. I guess Mrinal Sen is the only director whose birth anniversary is being celebrated like this. Those who have watched Kharij they should be very well aware that the trio actors are returning again but this time under Kaushik Ganguly’s direction.
Mamata Shankar herself stated that whenever she stands in front of camera, she visualise her first scene in her debut film “Mrigaya”. Even Anjan Dutta has said he got the smell of celluloid under the shadow of the great Mrinal Sen
It is indeed a nostalgic moment for these three actors working all together again. We are getting Jishu Sengupta who is not only our Bengal hero but also spreading his aura in Bollywood industry through different films. Thus, we expect a great chemistry between Jishu and Paoli
Kaushik Ganguly has always left a positive impression through his film making. His style is quite different from other directors that is why we eagerly wait for his films. He has also made it clear that “Kharij” is completely based on contemporary version. The film name is Palan but there will be no character as such as stated by the director himself
