What Mystery unveiled in ‘Nikhoj’- Kidnap or Murder?
Story

Web Series Review
The director tried to present the web series naturally whether the case is a murder or kidnap is the central focus of the web series. No as such entertainment has been shown besides this. This is indeed a positive point but there is also exists a negative side of it. Coming to the acting part, firstly I will mention about Swastika, she has acted beautifully in this series but mostly we get her as a mother not as a DSP in the entire series. Like in Drishyam if you have watched carefully Tabu had the same character of a mother as well as the wife of a high rank officer but she portrayed both of the sides beautifully throughout the film. Here we are not getting that in swastika’s character. No doubt the motherly part is perfectly established but the DSP part failed.
In between many scenes a gentle music of guitar has been introduced so that the audience gets a musical relief. Coming to the technical part, the cinematography, color gradation, editing and background music is not so fantastic but as usual. The storyline is extremely flat and monotonous, no scenes kept for entertainment. that Swastika’s character lacks the dimension which could have been given a twist to this entire series. As I mentioned previously, her character was more of a mother, the DSP part went completely missing. Besides the lead character, the supporting casts like the character of the nurse, then the constable seemed very immature
The plot focused mainly on high class profile society so the scenes shown within the society is quite good but the scenes of hospital, police station was not at all up to the mark. The art design completely failed miserably. One of the scene we see Paran Bandyopadhyay getting on a trum to go somewhere. When he is coming back again the same trum with the driver was there as if deliberately the shot has been taken at once. There can be a question that Paran Bandyopadhyay was thinking the entire journey, even if it so no proper establishment has been done. The character of Lokenath is very monotonous as we have seen him continuously in the character of police in back to back projects. Lastly I will say the full web series is too slow paced
