Friends long back a Hindi film named “Damini” was released. You all have watched the movie, it featured Minakshi, Sunny Deol and Amrish Puri. The film created a wave and still now most of us are accustomed with the dialogues. Those who have watched the film, they will get the same flavor from this web series “Mobaroknama”. An innocent girl getting raped from her close one, who approaches the law to seek justice. The lawyer who fights for her case once stepped away from his profession because of dirty politics. He returns to his profession just to give justice to the innocent girl. Did the girl get justice? The full story revolves around this to know what happened watch the web series streaming on Hoichoi.
The most striking feature is about the director. Intentionally or unintentionally the director is influenced with the Bollywood film “Damini. Another striking feature is the number of episodes in this series. You will be surprised to know how Bangladesh is improving in their cinematic vision with each ingredient. You can compare their previous contents with that od nowadays. On the other hand, our industry is deteriorating in their contents. Quality matters than quantity- this phrase is proved again in this web series. If you don’t see this series, you can never differentiate how well the director has crafted the storyline in just 5 episodes. The central attraction in this series is Mosharraf Karim we all know that but the other characters have performed so well and kept their emotions connected with the series. Their belief in their performance has made the web series hit.
Technical Part
The technical part is just brilliant. Firstly, the cinematography. The geometric angles used by the cinematographer lifts up the mood and essence of the scenes. The Gobo Lights used in the scenes is remarkable. The illusion it has created in the scenes completely justifies the plot. The background music has taken the web series to a different level. The web series is filled with positive points. You will be amazed when this web series will end in a fraction of seconds. There is an open end and twist in the climax which will give you chill. In some places, I felt some scenes to be irrelevant like, when the girl got raped and was taken to the court for justice. While interrogation, her love life past is shown in less screen time but I felt the scenes could have been elongated as the scene demanded. We generally say such scenes if elongated gets monotonous but in this series it demanded. There is nothing negative to discus about.
