About the trailer review:
Friends, since the name of the web series is Kantaye Kantaye, there has to be something relating to picking out the thorn with the help of another thorn. From the trailer it is evident that the story revolves around a stormy night. On that stormy night, a family gets stuck in a hotel and with them there are few other people also. There a murder takes place. Who has committed the murder? No one knows the answer to this. From that murder, there arise several more mysteries. That acts as a turning point from where lives of several individuals change. As we see in the trailer, each and every murder changes the course of the life of different people. And the mystery thickens. Finally will it get solved? To solve this mystery actor Saswata Chatterjee has arrived in the scene. He is portraying the character of lawyer P.K.Basu. The entire series is full of thrilling elements. At the very beginning there is a scene where Ananya Chatterjee is sitting in a disheartened mood in a room. Saswata is telling her that "whatever we have lost we can never get that back". Outside the door, suddenly a little girl appears and then disappears. From the background score it seems that there is a car accident. What seems from the trailer is that, in a car accident, Ananya and Saswata have lost their daughter. But is it simply an accident or is it a murder? We will get the answer in Kantaye Kantaye. Talking about the cast of this series, beside Saswata Chatterjee, there are Ananya Chatterjee ,Payal Sarkar, Soham Chatterjee and Mir. And in a humorous role, for the first time there is Kinjal Nanda. The look of Saswata's character in this series is quite apt. Salt and pepper hair, withspects. He looks quite different. Ananya Chatterjee who is playing Saswata's wife, is also looking good. The colour gradation and editing of the series is brilliant. There are quite a few shots of a running car, along the hilly roads and pine forests. Those shots are captured with drone. These kind of shots are enhancing the mystery factor of the series. Then in another scene, inside the hotel room there is power cut and everything is dark. Someone is lighting a candle and outside the door there is a shadowy presence who knocks on the door. This scene is giving goosebumps. This scene makes us ponder whether the series is based on any paranormal activity or is it a thriller? The answer can only be found out by watching the full series. The background music of the series is also very apt. If you watch the trailer you will see in a scene there is the noise of car accident and then noise of some lamentations. And all throughout the series, the element of suspense is maintained with the help of the background score. This is definitely adding value to the trailer.
Verdict:
The trailer is such that it is enhancing the interest of the viewers to watch the full series, for which we have to wait. The full series is coming on 15th August. I think everyone, and specially those who love thrillers, are going to love this.
