About the Web Series Reaction
Through the six episodes of Hoichoi Mimi Chakraborty makes her debut in web series. She is the mainstream heroine in films but here you will see her completely different. The year is ending and a girl is getting molested by few men and surprisingly they are law enforcement officers. An IC comes to rescue but he too gets killed by these men. The case goes to the court and a trial is held for the victim. Who is fighting the case for this dead man? Yes, our very own Mimi. Is she able to give justice? And who is the girl who got molested? Positive Segment
The acting part is really good, specially, Mimi who is a mainstream actress did very well with her character in this series. Her mannerism, movements, expressions justified the character. Even Debesh Chatterjee was too good with his character, who is playing the senior lawyer of Mimi. The lawyer who is standing against Mimi is Tota Roy Chowdhury. The gel between the senior lawyer and his junior has impacted well. It will also give you goosebumps in many scenes. The storyline, script and dialogues are really good. The character design of Tota is sensational. He is an experienced lawyer with cool brain. He presents the evident very cleverly as well as taking the emotional side of his opponent lawyer. There is turning point in the end of the web series and not one but many. I won’t give you the spoiler. The technical segment is also good. The presentation, making, editing is appreciable
Negative Segment
I am not satisfied with the climax. Though there are twists in the end but they are not well established. I felt the director was in hurry to end. One more place I found to be negative. There is a scene where Mimi Chakraborty is sitting in a dinner table with her boy-friend, conversation heated up and Mimi Chakraborty reacts at him. The reaction span gets too long and it feels that the portion is deliberately cut and added. It can be editing fault or acting as well. Whatever is the reason the scene failed badly to my opinion.
Verdict
From the beginning you won’t feel the concept a new one but the twists implemented at the end will change the route. Watch the 6 episodes in Hoichoi and get the entertainment but definitely comment once you watch the web series.
