Mostly who have seen the trailer of this film knows about the basic plot. The story is very simple. In short, a baby street dog died in a road accident, with whom Vikram Chatterjee was emotionally attached, from then Vikram Chatterjee starts taking revenge from those who torcher and illtreat street dogs. Why revenge? Is he successful in his goal of revenge? Find out what happens by watching this film in your nearby theatres.
- Positive Part
Talking about the positive points, the first thing to be mentioned is the selection of such a story. Why Bengali movie, even in World Cinema such animal-based genre film is very less to see! The attempt taken to present such a movie is praiseworthy. Secondly, the way the characters has been designed. Vikram Chatterjee is really good with his transformation but above all Soumya Mukherjee is just brilliant with his acting as the antagonist. The way his character been designed is eye-catching. Somewhere he is psychiatric because he loves this violence. The way the scene has been established is mind blowing. Then comes another crucial part, the action sequence of the film. You cannot say this one to be a commercial gharana movie but definitely there are some commercial parameters. The actions are not totally commercial but realistic. The parameter of commercial cinema implemented in the action scenes is outstanding. Specially in the climax the way the action sequence has been synchronized, the way the violence has been shown that scene will give you chills. The looks of Vikram Chatterjee in this film is praiseworthy. He has prepared himself mentally and physically to perform this character. Through this film it is easily noticeable that Vikram has really worked hard for his physical transformation.
- Scripting and Technical Part
The script designing is also good. There are many punchlines which works with the scene as well. Background music is really good. The emotion is well expressed with the music. Even the violence in the action scenes with the blend of perfect background score will give you goosebumps. Personally, in some place I have some dislikes. In the film there are scenes where police officers are shown investigating the reasons behind the crime but the way they are investigating is not at all acceptable. The emotion which was shown in the trailer somewhere failed to work or did not build up throughout the entire film.
Verdict
I will say this movie is a must watch for youngsters, they will enjoy the movie. Even those who loves violent movies they will like for sure. You will definitely get a flavor of mainstream gharana but the realistic approach will drive your attention more.
