Ghun Film Review
The film ventures into the realm of corporate life, delving into its hierarchy, malpractices, and the allure of a quick rise to success. However, despite exploring these angles, it falls short of establishing an emotional connection with the audience. Instead, it feels disjointed and cringeworthy at times. The film's endeavor to rekindle hope in shaky relationships also falls flat. The missing ingredient, as it turns out, is an engaging script that could have tied all these elements together cohesively.
Poulomi portrays Poonam convincingly, bringing depth to her character. Anusha and Sourav do justice to their roles as Simi and Joy respectively, delivering solid performances. Samadarshi as Amit also puts forth a decent act. Kamaleswar Mukherjee makes a brief appearance as a JNU professor, serving as a link between two storylines.
However, some of the supporting actors struggle with their dialogue delivery, employing accents that may be off-putting. Additionally, certain scenes stretch on for too long, testing the audience's patience. The film attempts to connect multiple storylines in a frantic manner, but unfortunately, they fail to lead to any meaningful resolution.
Overall, the film falls short of achieving its goal of realistic cinema, making it a mediocre attempt at storytelling.
