Eta amader golpo: Emotions or Societal Norms? The choice is difficult!
About the story: The film revolves around the love story of an elderly couple. Two elderly people are falling in love with each other. Here Saswata Chatterjee is playing the role of an old Punjabi gentleman while Aparajita Adhya is playing the role of an elderly widow. Saswata Chattopadhyay is a bachelor. A relationship blossoms between the two but will it reach a proper culmination? To know the answer you have to watch the film.

About the film review: The most important factor here is the performance of the actors. Because as all of you know when Saswata Chatterjee is acting in a movie there is nothing to say about the performance part, because he is a great performer. Here as an old gentleman he has acted really well and the humorous side of their relationship is really portrayed beautifully. On the other hand Aparajita Adhya has acted equally well. She is a glamorous actress and yet she has portrayed the role of an elderly widow with Elan. Hats off to her. Manashi Sinha, the director, has really brought out the best in her. Now let me talk about kharaj mukhopadhyay's performance. He has played a very small role in this film and yet that portion stands out. His comedy, his emotion everything touches the audience.
All the songs that are used in the film are beautiful and they bring out the essence of the scenes nicely. Lastly let me talk about the technical part of the film The script of the film is very good. The work of the DOP, the way he has captured the angles, is average. However the way the , that is praise-worthy.
Another very important positive point of the film is that in spite of this being an entertaining film it gives out a very important social message. In our society the romance of an elderly person is looked down by the people. But any person of any age can find his or her soulmate and there is nothing wrong in it. This message is brought out very strongly in the portrayal of the movie. Another most mention-worthy aspect is the background score which is used very nicely to bring out the mood of the film.
Verdict: This is definitely a good film and all of you must watch and let us know your opinion. I think the film will strike a chord with audience.
