Dadur Kirti: When the suspense of treasure hunt meets the terror of supernatural!!
About the plot: The story of the web series is centred around the Chaudhary House. The owner of the house has kept some treasures hidden inside the house, with the belief that someone from his own family will solve the mystery and find out the treasure. After this we see that different family members come and all of them try to solve the mystery to access the hidden treasure. Finally, could they find the treasure or who found the treasure or what were the obstacles in the path of finding the treasure - to know the answer to all these questions you have to watch the full web series. This webseries is designed in such a way that it entails a lot of elements. On one side there is this supernatural element while on the other there is the suspense of finding the hidden treasure. On one hand there is family bonding while on the other hand there is this love story. For the viewers this is an advantage because everyone will get to see his/her preferred genre in this web series. And all this together will entertain the audience.
About the cast and the director: The web series is directed by Rahul Mukherjee and casts Paran Bandopadhaya, Anashua Majumdar, Shantilal Mukherjee, Jaayati Chakraborty, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Tanishka Tiwari, Chandreyee Ghosh, Kanchan Mullick, Srijla Guha, Soham Maitra, Durbar Sharma, Avery Singha Roy, Ayan Bhattacharjee and Satyam Bhattacharya.
About the release date: The web series will be streaming on HoiChoi from 29th March.
About the webseries trailer reaction: I am quite liking the way this web series is designed and particularly the way it is represented in the trailer. There is no jerk in the narration and all the elements that are present in this series all of them are covered in the trailer. Now if I talk about the technical part in the web series. Firstly the colour gradation of the series. There are different kinds of elements in this series and all the elements demand separate colour and this depiction is done very nicely. In the scenes where there are some supernatural elements or in those scenes where there is a kind of suspense regarding the hidden treasure, all these scenes are given dark tone . While in the scenes involving romantic relationship or family bonding there is the use of lighter shades and whitish light to highlight these elements. This colour gradation will help the web series to become successful. Secondly the background music. This is one such web series in whose background music we are finding a kind of Symphony. In Western films, there is much more use of Symphony tocreate the ambience. Here also the kind of symphony that is used, it is helping to create the required ambience and it is touching a chord with the audience. Thirdly, let me talk about the choice of location; particularly the Chaudhary House. The location that has been chosen, there we can find some similarity with Ballabhpurer Rupkotha. Those of you who have watched the trailer must have noticed the similarity. That is quite good. Here we can also see the use of VFX. There is the statue of a lion on the main gate of the Chaudhary House. Sometimes that lion is behaving as if it is living and that is creating a kind of suspense and eerie atmosphere. Since there are so many aspects and so many different shades to this series, that is definitely a positive point. From what we can presume on watching the trailer we can definitely inferr that the positive sides of the web series is definitely more. I haven't noticed any negative side. Everyone's performance is quite good in this series. Particularly that of Paran Bandopadhyay. We have seen Poran Bandopadhyay in several roles but here it is different. Anasua Majumdar is also quite brilliant. If I want to say another thing about this web series it will be about the making of the web series. Now making of something is good only when the script of that particular project is good. Here I appreciate the script and I feel that every dialogue of every person is apt and spontaneous. Story line,as I have already said is not unique but there is a lot of entertainment in the story line which is quite impressing us. Thus,over all the elements in the trailer is working in favour of the series.
Verdict: This is going to be a successful web series as far as I can understand. There are several elements in the series all the which are blended properly. This it is working together in favour of the series. let's wait to watch the series. Do let us know your opinion afternoon watching it.
