About the story: Judging by the first glimpse of the film as well as the trailer, I felt that this is going to be ascience fiction movie. Definitely Boomerang is a science fiction movie. And definitely thereisarobot factor in the movie but the whole thing has been portrayed from a comic angle. Apart from comedy there are other emotional factors in the movie. Before doing the reviewI just want to tell you that this film resembles no other prior robot-oriented film.
Here we see that Jeet is playing the role of a scientist, who wants to create history by buildingtechnologically sound products. Thus he is innovating new things with his new ideas. Therobot which he is constructing is gradually bringing a change in his life. You can call the changeaproblem or you can say that it is bringing a new dimension to his life. So whether the changeisactually profitable for him or whether it is making him suffer; to know the answer to all theseyou have to watch the film.

About the film review: While doing the review, I would like to discuss the positive and negative sides of the movie. There are quite a few positive sides. Foremost, the screenplay and the making of the filmisveryinteresting. One thing is assured that you will never feel bored while watching the movie. All through out the film there are comedy elements and those comedy elements are workingfavourably for the film. And you will never feel that those moments are forced. Punchlineswhichare usey to bring out this comical effect, are simply fantastic.
While talking about the script i must say that the the comical dialogues that are spoken by thecharacters are all befitting. Here how Jeet is presented is interesting. We always consider himas a mass hero. But we haven't got him much in the comedy films tho we all knowthat is comictimings are good. Here his comedy acting is praise worthy. Kharaj Mukherjee, as we all know, excels in comic genre. Here hus character is half Chinese and half Bengali; so his appearanceitself is very funny. Here amarish is playing a meaty role and in all his scenes he is maky theaudience laugh. Thus as a movie of the comic genre specifically subtle comedy not slapstickcomedy this film is definitely worth watching.
Next coming to the performance part. Here everyone's performance is good. Rukmini deservesspecial mention. This apart, here all the actors who are there in the film excel in comedy genre. And they have given outstanding performance. Thus not even once will you feel bored .
We can easily divide this film into two halves . Those of you have see the filmmust knowthat the first half is based on comedy genre but the second half is replete with emotion. The emotional scenes have worked favourably for the movie.
There is something new that has been try to be incorporated in the movie. As we all knowinthefilm industry there are often competitions between the leading actors and the different production houses; but here a beautiful tribute has been paid to Dev Parambrata and Abir. Andthis is definitely giving us hope that the Bengali film industry is moving towards solidarity.
Coming to the negative side, I would like to say that the work of the VFX is not that good. InSome scenes the VFX is weak. Apart from this there is not much negative in this film.
Verdict: Jeet has a huge fan following and I know that all of you were waiting eagerly for the filmtorelease. I think the movie, which is an out and out entertainer, is going to do very good business. Do go and watch it and let us know your opinion.
