The first news I will give is that this film has been selected for 29th KIFF and when a film is selected in an international film festival then definitely the film has some elements. There is a basic difference between festival movie and a normal movie. This film is specially for those audience who loves to see emotional and intellectual content. Those of you who are not festival audience you too will like this film. The plot of the story goes like this, a married woman after many days returns to her father’s house. There are lot of emotions left to be conveyed among each other. You may think that this type of films has been made several times but I can assure the way the presentation has been done you haven’t seen for a long time
Coming to the positive points, the first thing I will talk about is the use of symbols in this film. In every dialogue the symbol has been so well incorporated that it will widen your thoughts beyond the horizon. Emotion is such a thing which cannot be described in words, for this the use of symbolism is necessary. The way the artist has developed their characters emotionally is commendable. Swastika is brilliant in this film with her acting. This is one of the best films in her career. The script design is good but to be noted a script is well portrayed if artist perform with its craft. Swastika’s dialogues will give you goosebumps. Even the technical angle in this film is superb, especially the light. Light is the most essential segment in stage as it develops and conveys emotions of a character. The backlight, front light has widened the angle of the character’s emotion in this film. It will take you to a mesmerizing journey. Editing, color gradation is way effective and of course the background score. It will make you emotional in many scenes. In some scenes it will give you goosebumps as well. Not only the making of the music but the incorporation is brilliant.
Verdict
Since it is a festival movie the concept is different from daily mainstream gharana but through the work and presentation you can get the detailing of the scenes.
