About the trailer review:
Babli is a romantic love story. Babli is not a slim and fragile heroine but an ordinary girl who is a little overweight. She is bestowed with insecurity, pride and at the same time the capability to love someone whole-heartedly. And a handsome novelist Abhi, falls in love with this girl. But the novelist tells her, that to him, she looks beautiful as she is. This is how Babli and the novelist embarks on a journey. The relationship between Abhimanyu and Babli gradually transforms from friendship to love. But though their relationship is gradually blossoming into love, between the two of them, there comes the beautiful and slim Jhuma. By profession she is an air hostess. She is so beautiful that it is difficult to forget her once someone sees her. This is what we learn from Jhuma's dialogue in the trailer. Later we see that Jhuma tries to win Abhimanyu's heart. Gradually Babli feels insecured about Jhuma and she becomes suspicious of her. To know what happens next, you have to watch the film. Now let me talk about the cast of the film. Subhashree Ganguly is playing the role of Babli. The male protagonist opposite Subhashree is played by Abir Chatterjee and in the character of the air hostess we see the gorgeous Sauraseni Maitra. You know friends everyone is saying that this is the first time that Abir and Subhashree are playing the romantic pair. But it is really difficult to say that by looking at their chemistry. Their on screen chemistry is just fantastic. Sauraseni Maitra also suits the character of the air hostess. Now let me talk about the editing, colour gradation and background score of the trailer. The cinematography of the movie is really good and the scenic beauty of the place is wonderfully captured. In the trailer a calm dense forest is shown which is dark even in the day time. There, amidst the forest, Subhashree and Abir have lighted a bonfire. The scene looks beautiful. Talking about the background score of the film, I must admit that the background music is simply great. These is a scene, in which a car is running along a hilly road and on both sides there are dense forests. Abhi is driving the car and Babli is sitting next to him. Soft music is playing in the background and that music is creating a really romantic ambience. Subhasree Ganguly looks beautiful in the character of Babli, a 22/23 year old overweight girl. Subhasree's Performance in this role seems really promising . Does the story ene on a happy note or is there a tragic ending? The answer is to be found on 15th August because the film is releasing on that day.
Verdict:
I would recommend everyone to watch the movie because there is an old world charm which is really nostalgia-evoking. I think the movie is going to fare really well because the chemistry between Abir and Subhashree is really Sparkling and the novel is also a a very well known one.
