Star Jalsha is all set to entice its audience this festive season with World TV premiere of 2023 blockbuster Bengali movie Ardhangini on December 24. Ardhangini, the much anticipated and highly acclaimed movie features the acting stalwarts of present-day Bengali cinema, who have gotten finer with their experiences in the industry over the past decade. Starring Churni Ganguly, Jaya Ahsan & Kaushik Sen, the movie is directed by another master of the art of movie making – Kaushik Ganguly. After Suman suffers an accident, Meghna, Suma’s wife & Subhra, his ex-wife, are compelled by circumstances to meet each other which leads to an awkward emotional duel between the two wives.
Extremely talented & versatile actress Churni Ganguly portrays the character of Subhra, the ex-wife of Suman. Apart from gracing the Bengali movie audiences, she marked her highly praised debut in Bollywood with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Every role was challenging to him but the character he did here was different as he had the challenge of not making his character grand than that of Churni Ganguly and Jaya Ahsan, because these two ladies were the two pillars of the stories.
