Despite being the most eanted hero in Tolipara, with his latest blockbuster 'ACP Vijay Poddar' dominating the Pujo box office and the successful OTT venture 'Durgo Rahasya,' the focus has shifted from his professional achievements to his personal life.
Amid whispers and rumors in Tolipara just before the puja, Anirban, who tied the knot with Madhurima Goswami in November 2020 after a long courtship, is now facing scrutiny. Their marriage wasn't spared from sarcasm, with many considering Madhurima as 'incompatible' next to the celebrated actor. However, their life together took an unexpected turn, and now there are whispers of a third person entering the scene.
Known for keeping his personal life private, Anirban chose to address the divorce rumors in an interview. He expressed, 'I don't want to say anything about the separation. It involves people connected to me (Madhurima) and others connected to her. Regardless of the outcome, my sincere wish is to resolve it privately.'
Anirban emphasized his commitment to handling the situation with dignity, stating, 'I may not react outwardly. Maintaining humility is a responsibility. However, I will strive to minimize the pain and discomfort for those whose names are being dragged into this.'
Madhurima, a proficient stage artist with expertise in mime acting, shares a decade-long love relationship with Anirban. Both graduates of Rabindra Bharati University, they collaborated in several plays, including 'Hatibagan Sangharam.' Notably, Madhurima's father is the renowned Padma Shri awardee mime artist Niranjan Goswami. The couple also worked together in dramas such as 'Hastagat' and 'Udarneeti.'
While both Anirban and Madhurima maintain a low profile on social media, a surprising detail emerged—though Madhurima follows Anirban on Instagram, the actor does not reciprocate the gesture. The last public appearance of the couple was at the wedding of actress Shaoli Chatterjee and Pratik Dutt, close friends of Anirban and Madhurima.
